Engadiner Wines

General description
The Engadiner Wines winery in Glen, in the municipality of Montan, is a remarkable example of a young and dynamic wine estate, which began producing its own wine in 2021. Behind the brand is the Zelger family, who turned their passion for nature, agriculture, and wine into a profession.

The winery operates in two geographical locations, reflecting the diversity of its wines. In Glen, at 650 meters above sea level in the southern part of South Tyrol, the family primarily cultivates Pinot Noir. Here, the strong temperature variations between day and night contribute to producing fresh and elegant wines.

The second location is in Auer, where the porphyry-rich soils and warmer temperatures provide optimal conditions for growing Lagrein. In addition to these two main varieties, they also produce a Kerner, which, like the other wines, reflects the terroir and the Zelger family's unique approach to winemaking.

Engadiner Wines places great importance on crafting wines that are true to their terroir and varietal character, standing out for their authenticity and unique personality.
