Wine in the southeastern Dolomites

It’s almost impossible to believe: but vine still grows in the southeastern Dolomites! Because of their south-facing position, the Mediterranean climate and the generally warming climate farmers and renowned wineries have been growing wine in Aldino (1,100 m) and Anterivo (1,200 m) for several years.

A sea of vineyards is found in the valley, in the wine villages of Ora, Egna, Montagna, Termeno, Caldaro and along the wine route from Nalles to Salorno.
