RespirArt in Pampeago at an altitude of 2,000- to 2,200 m is one of the highest art parks in the world and invites visitors to switch off in an ever changing nature. Over a 3 km long circular route works from internationally renowned artists are exhibited.
Val di Fassa is home to the Ladin people. They are renowned world-wide for their special woodcarving skills. A speciality are the “faceres”, the wooden masks used during the Ladin carnival.
Sounding forest is a spruce wood. Spruces are particularly favoured by violin makers. Every summer renowned international musicians are invited to participate in the music festival “I Suoni delle Dolomiti” (sounds of the Dolomites) and to choose a spruce.
