The lowest part of the valley in the holiday region Bolzano and environs is at 250 - 450 m. The valley is framed by mountains and high plateaus. There is no easier, faster or more environment friendly way of reaching the top than in a cable car. Bolzano alone has a total of two. You can also glide softly up to the heights from Caldaro and Terlano. With the cable cars you gain 1000 metres height in as little as 10-12 minutes!
