Christmas market in Laives

At the weekends during Advent, the Laives Christmas market is a meeting point for locals and visitors.

On Saturdays and Sundays local associations, craftsmen and hobbyists enliven the stalls at the fairground Piazzale Pfarrheim/Festplatz Pfarrheim, accompanied by concerts by local music groups. Several supporting events will take place, including a living nativity scene near the parish church of Laives, an exhibition of handcrafted nativity scenes, and a trail through the city featuring big and small nativity scenes in the shop windows. Children can look forward to a visit from St. Nicholas and riding on small horses along the Via Pietralba/Weißensteinerstraße.
