Sun observatory "Peter Anich"

The Max Valier Observatory with the Peter Anich Solar Observatory is just over half an hour's drive from Bozen|Bolzano and yet far away from the city lights. They offer locals and visitors insights into the vastness of space, fascinating views of our sun and tips on practical observation of the sky.

The view of the seething sun through the solar telescope is sure to remain in your memory.

Guided tours are offered every Friday at 2 pm during the summer months.
Booking is required.
Guided tours for groups on other dates can be requested.

- 182 from Bolzano/Bozen via Collepietra/Steinegg to the bus stop "Dörer Wiese"
- 187 from Nova Levante/Welschnofen to the "Dörer Wiese" bus stop,
- 180 from Nova Levante/Welschnofen to Ponte Nova/Birchabruck and change to bus 182 and then to the "Dörer Wiese" bus stop,
- 181 from Nova Ponente/Deutschnofen to Ponte Nova/Birchabruck and change to 182 and then to the "Dörer Wiese" bus stop,
