Pinot Noir Days

The South Tyrolean Pinot Noir Days are unique in Italy and celebrate the "King of Red Wines." They are hosted in the Pinot Noir villages of Neumarkt and Montan, where this noble grape variety has been successfully cultivated since the mid-19th century.

The Pinot Noir Days offer not only a festive opening and award ceremony but also a comprehensive program for the public. Public tastings take place at the hospice in Laag near Neumarkt. In two-hour slots, visitors have the opportunity to taste over 100 Pinot Noir wines from various regions of Italy while seated comfortably. In addition to the tastings, guided wine walks are also part of the program on all three days.
