Bolzano / Bozen

As South Tyrol’s capital, Bolzano seamlessly combines alpine traditions with Mediterranean charm. The medieval arcades and Walther Square invite leisurely strolls, while the South Tyrol Museum of Archaeology houses Ötzi, the famous Iceman.

Meran / Merano

Known for its mild climate and magnificent gardens, Merano was once a renowned spa town. The Tappeiner Promenade and the Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle are must-sees.

Brixen / Bressanone

The oldest town in Tyrol, Brixen delights with its baroque buildings and the majestic cathedral. The Hofburg, once the bishop’s residence, now hosts an impressive diocesan museum.

Bruneck / Brunico

Located in the heart of the Puster Valley, Bruneck is a lively center with a medieval core. Above the town towers Bruneck Castle, home to one of the Messner Mountain Museums, dedicated to mountain cultures.

Sterzing / Vipiteno

Just a few kilometers from the Brenner Pass lies Sterzing, Italy’s northernmost town. The 15th-century Zwölferturm (Tower of the Twelve), the city’s landmark, divides the old town from the new. Elegant townhouses with their characteristic bay windows reflect the rich history of this former Fugger city.

Glurns / Glorenza

South Tyrol’s smallest city impresses with its perfectly preserved medieval walls and timeless charm. Narrow alleys and historic city gates transport visitors back in time. Regular markets and events are a special highlight, making Glurns a vibrant meeting place.

Klausen / Chiusa

Nestled among the vineyards and forests of the Eisack Valley, Klausen is one of Italy’s most beautiful small towns. Trient

Not located in South Tyrol, but still very close to Südtirols Süden! Trento, the capital of Trentino, impresses with its Renaissance charm and historical significance. Famous for the Council of Trent, the city boasts highlights such as Piazza Duomo with the Cathedral of San Vigilio, the Neptune Fountain, and Castello del Buonconsiglio with its stunning frescoes.
