In Riva di Sotto golfers tee-off on the 9-hole golf course Blue Monster. The green is surrounded by apple orchards and excites with many water areas and golfing fun in a beautiful natural landscape. Beginners and experienced players find ideal conditions for practising their swings in the grounds of Castle Freudenstein.

In the ice holes inside a hollow in the forest, you experience a natural phenomenon. Here, the temperature is 0-9 °C throughout the whole year. This special climate ensures that there are icicles even in the height of summer. In an altitude of 500 m you find vegetation that usually thrives in 1,200 m.

The spring valley is situated between the Laghi di Monticolo and Lago di Caldaro. In early spring anemone hepatica, spring snowflakes and crocuses flourish here, when warm air flows into the valley from the South while other regions are still covered in snow.
